HERE'S WHAT WE WILL DELIVER
pelotonRPM’s custom learning module for BlueTriton’s Five Gallon Bottle Retail Launch Program will include five distinct components for the members of your sales team and, to the extent you feel appropriate, some of your broker partners.
The first part of our learning program will be a 60-minute to 90-minute (depending on your preference) live, interactive, online class with members of your sales team. The first portion of this class will focus on effective presentation / soft skills and how to engage with prospects and customers both in-person and on live video. The second portion of the class, which will involve members of the BTB team leading the initiative, will focus on the specific details of the launch itself. We will manage the execution of this class and will lead the creation of dynamic content for the session.
Following the kick-off class, we will provide your sales team and leadership with access to our library of online learning materials. This content will include product and process-specific information provided by BTB and also more general learning materials relating to becoming an effective omni-channel sales professional. We will also incorporate links that can take the learners back to your SuccessFactors / CSoD system for additional information. The materials will also include a simulation guide that they will need to review in advance of their simulated sales conversation.
Once the members of your team have had an opportunity to review the online learning materials, they will have a personalized 30-minute one-on-one video coaching call with a member of the pelotonRPM team. The coaching session will give them the opportunity to ask questions, discuss presentation tactics, learn more about soft skills and presentation considerations, and gather more information about their upcoming simulation. We encourage the learners to treat the coaching session as a free-form discussion that allows them to raise any issue they would like. Coaching tends to be a highlight of the program.
Once coaching has been completed, each member of the BTB sales team will have a live, virtual, 30-minute simulated sales conversation. We will construct the simulation to look, sound, and feel like a real sales conversation they will have in the field. The simulation will require them to position the five gallon offering in an appealing way, message important logistical and pricing information correctly, and address concerns and objections that the ‘prospect’ may have. Clearly we will look to the BTB leadership team to provide guidance as we construct the simulation scenario (and, ideally, dry run it before we launch).
Once their simulations are completed, a member of the pelotonRPM team will review each video and provide the learners with feedback. This will be done through a 20 to 30-minute one-to-one video feedback call with each learner combined with a written Scoring Sheet and a series of one-pagers that will expand upon some of the topics raised during the simulation. Each learner will also receive a pelotonRPM Completion Certificate at the end of the process. Finally, we will deliver a program recap presentation to BTB leadership, highlighting any issues that arose during the group’s simulations.
