This is an example of a segment from a live online class that is being delivered to the sales teams at a private equity portfolio company in the manufacturing industry. This class is entitled “Moving Towards Value Based Selling” and is intended to help sales professionals understand the importance of framing their pricing conversations in an effective way.
HERE'S HOW OUR PROGRAMS ARE TYPICALLY STRUCTURED
Depending on the number of participants, we would suggest segmenting the Descartes team into several cohorts. Each learner will go through the entire process, including a live online class (capped at 25 learners per class), access to learning materials, 1-to-1 coaching, a 30 minute simulation, and live 1-to-1 feedback. That said, depending upon your objectives for each Learner, we can calibrate the focus of the coaching and feedback sessions to address their specific needs. We can be flexible to ensure the best possible outcome.
Our live, virtual 90-minute classes combines instruction with active conversation between our Learners. We typically limit each class to 25 Learners to allow for maximum engagement or leverage break out rooms for larger teams. We also offer standalone live online classes for very large groups.
We make our growing library of online learning materials available to every pelotonRPM Learner. The learning materials cover a full range of topics and incorporate different types of content, including written materials, templates, checklists, surveys, instructional videos, and supporting audio files.
Our programs typically incorporate a 1-to-1 coaching session and a live virtual simulation exercise. Each Learner typically has a 30-minute live, simulated, video-based ‘sales’ conversation that allows them to apply and practice what has been taught during the program. The simulation scenario is designed to look, sound, and feel just like a real client situation. In this case we can design it to incorporate a discussion of standard contract terms. pelotonRPM simulations are incredibly impactful learning tools.
Once each Learner’s sales simulation is completed, the pelotonRPM team will analyze the video of their session and compile personalized feedback. Each Learner will typically have a 30-minute video feedback meeting to discuss what they did well, areas in which they can continue to improve, and strategies and tactics they can consider to enhance their overall effectiveness and development. They will also receive a completion certificate at the end of the pelotonRPM program.
