Racial Bias & Discrimination

Workplace Conduct Simulations

Racial bias and discrimination – be it conscious or unconscious – impacts a tremendous number of organizations in the U.S. and abroad. Despite substantial progress in recent years, diversity numbers are lower than many would like, particularly at the more senior level of corporate America. pelotonRPM offers a range of simulation exercises that prepare managers and leaders to handle difficult conversations about racial bias and discrimination. These simulation exercises typically require participants to engage with a complainant or bystander with empathy and appreciation, to navigate the scenario without passing judgment regarding an alleged perpetrator, and to accurately relay critical information to HR or legal. Upon completion of these simulations, participants often have a more nuanced view of the manner in which bias and discrimination can permeate decision-making processes.
